Job Details
We are recruiting for an experienced System Administrator to join a reputable law firm based in Irvine. The role will focus on maintaining and optimizing the firms infrastructure, especially across networking and server setups. A key role within the technical team, providing senior escalated support and involvement in a portfolio of upcoming projects/implementations.
The Role:
- Configure, install and maintain WAN, SDWAN, switches, routers and other networking elements.
- Manage VMware environments.
- Design and implement Disaster Recovery and Backup plans.
- Provide escalated support for technical support and applications teams.
- Assit with anti-virus and security initiatives.
- Identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Perform engineering tasks as part of wider firm improvements and operations.
- Implement automation to improve deskside and application support processes.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Server environments.
- Understanding of hybrid AD environments.
- Experience within virtualized environments.
- Strong understanding of layer 2 networking.
