Job Details

We are recruiting for an experienced System Administrator to join a reputable law firm based in Irvine. The role will focus on maintaining and optimizing the firms infrastructure, especially across networking and server setups. A key role within the technical team, providing senior escalated support and involvement in a portfolio of upcoming projects/implementations.

The Role:

  • Configure, install and maintain WAN, SDWAN, switches, routers and other networking elements.
  • Manage VMware environments.
  • Design and implement Disaster Recovery and Backup plans.
  • Provide escalated support for technical support and applications teams.
  • Assit with anti-virus and security initiatives.
  • Identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Perform engineering tasks as part of wider firm improvements and operations.
  • Implement automation to improve deskside and application support processes.

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Server environments.
  • Understanding of hybrid AD environments.
  • Experience within virtualized environments.
  • Strong understanding of layer 2 networking.
