The facilities manager oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities staff. Objectives of this role

• Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures
• Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements
• Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments
• Supervise facilities staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors
• Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol

Responsibilities

• Delegate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members
• Run routine maintenance inspections
• Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation
• Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes
• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
• Support maintenance and installment work as needed

Minimum qualification include:

• Able to pass a school BCI background check.
• Evidence of successful prior work experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the job.
• Ability to be reliable and work in a school setting.

Pay:

• $21.00 per hour
• Candidates with very little experience would be offered a lower hourly rate
• Candidates with extensive experience would be offered a higher hourly rate
