Responsibilities
•Schedule and confirm appointments, recorded statements, IMEs and EUOs
•Follow up and request all documents in regard to client's cases including but not limited to insurance information, police reports, medical records, and bills
•Provide support to case manager and attorney while managing a caseload
•Prepare demands and draft legal documents
•Provide clear and concise communication to a multitude of parties including the clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies
•Maintain attorney's calendars
•Ensure deadlines are met
Qualifications
•The Legal Assistant position is an entry-level position and legal experience is not required
•Minimum of one year of office work or customer service experience or demonstrated interest in the law
•The Legal Assistant must have a high school degree
•Must have a positive attitude and be computer-savvy
•Strong multi-tasking ability
•Must be innovative, self-starter, and goal-oriented
•Candidate should be able to manage deadlines; ability to follow up and be detail-oriented.
