The Technical Project Lead plays a crucial role by working on multiple projects and coordinating various project tasks within a managed services environment. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and customer service abilities. The ideal candidate is proactive and dynamic, who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving IT services environment. The Technical Project Lead will play a pivotal role in driving project success and delivering exceptional value to clients.

Who we're looking for: 

• Proven technical experience, preferably in an MSP or IT services environment.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and client service skills.
• Skill in strategic planning with an ability to think ahead and plan for the project time span.
• Skill in planning and preparing written communications.
• Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
• Willing to work occasionally and/or be on call overtime, holidays, and weekends.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.

What's the job:

• Lead and manage a range of IT projects within a managed services environment.
• Ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, time, and quality constraints.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to achieve project objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and documentation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Meet monthly and quarterly goals based on metrics.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients for all project-related matters.
• Understand and align project goals with client business objectives.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through excellent service and effective communication.
• Lead, coach, and motivate project team members.
• Promote a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately.
• Foster professional development and skill enhancement among team members.
• Apply best practices in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in IT and managed services.
• Utilize MSP-specific tools and technologies effectively for project management.
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance service quality and efficiency.
