We’re seeking a Production Project Manager to join our dynamic team at our leading large format digital printing company. As the point person for operations and vendor communications, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and successful project execution.
Your tasks
- Operations Liaison: Act as the primary contact for production, understanding their requirements, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors, oversee material purchasing, and manage outsourced purchases and services.
- Project Quoting: Work closely with sales and production teams to prepare accurate and competitive project quotes. Utilize your industry knowledge and expertise to assess project requirements, pricing strategies, and profitability margins.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain inventory levels for printing materials and supplies.
- Problem-Solving: Address any production-related challenges promptly and efficiently.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven background in large format digital printing or graphics industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational skills with a focus on managing vendors, inventory, and project quoting process.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with large format printers, laminators, and plotters.
- Collaborative Attitude: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
