WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Advocate for the best quality of patient care; ensuring Franciscan Alliance quality metrics are achieved through sound clinical processes following accreditation and regulatory agency guidelines.
Direct the preparation of the annual budget for the respective division. Monitor overall financial performance of division and assigns accountability for budget management to direct reports as appropriate.
Facilitate and reinforce, through business processes and performance measures, a mindset for excellence in order to reduce unnecessary variations, improve clinical outcomes and reduce costs.
Initiate and sponsor the development and implementation of quality improvement projects that enhance application and systems cost efficiency, coworker productivity and service to those we are privileged to serve.
Identify and implement new programs or services in the areas of needs or interest to stakeholders, which enhance available services and financial viability.
Meet with the members of the community, physician leaders, healthcare organizations or federal state region officials on matters of mutual concern and to address community needs.
Promote a better understanding of Franciscan Alliance programs and services.
Oversee implementation of a Franciscan Alliance planning process consistent with established guidelines for both long-range and operational planning.
Oversee implementation of the budgeting process for Franciscan Alliance consistent with established guidelines.
Oversee the effective delivery of service to those we are privileged to serve and evaluate satisfaction to those we are privileged to serve to ensure the organization is meeting quality service standards.
Participate in the development and monitoring of corporate Initiatives by working with executive staff members at each facility.
Promote compliance with initiatives/programs as defined by the Operations Council, System CEO, and the Board of Directors by interacting with each to provide a consistent approach to the implementation of these programs.
Guide and follow up on collaborations between Corporate, Regional and facility management to assure achievement of system-wide priorities and programs.
Serve as a champion for coworker engagement and developing a high performing organization.
Provide input on organization-wide talent management initiatives, oversees division-specific strategic human resources plan, and participates in the selection of critical positions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration - Required
10 years of progressively increasing healthcare experience - Required
