Job Description and Duties
Under the general direction of the Administrator I, the Staff Operations Specialist (SOS) leads the analyst group within the Information Capture and Banking Section (ICBS) Project and Analytical Support Unit to perform activities related to the analysis and support of the department’s projects that have direct impact on ICBS. The Project and Analytical Support Unit also acts as the liaison between ICBS and the Receiving and Data Storage Section (RDSS) and provides analytical and project support to the Processing Services Bureau managers. In addition, the analyst group is responsible for providing general analytical support including studies, analytical review, impact analysis, oversight/coordination of issue resolution, project implementation and training. The incumbent is expected to: model appropriate behavior for others; strive for continuous improvement in the workplace; work cooperatively with others; communicate clearly and accurately; treat everyone with fairness, honesty, courtesy and respect.

Working Conditions
This position is eligible for remote-working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework.
