foxylady is Hiring a Line Chef Near Providence, RI

Must be able to oversee food cost and assist with menu planning.

Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create new dishes and specials
- Ensure proper portion control and minimize waste
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper cooking techniques and presentation guidelines
- Monitor food quality and freshness
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and kitchen procedures
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus
