Job Summary: As a Resort Facilities Maintenance Technician at Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of our resort's buildings, equipment, and grounds. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all facilities are in excellent condition, providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for our guests and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical work, HVAC maintenance, and carpentry.
• Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities to identify and address any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact on guest experience.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with external contractors as needed for specialized repairs.
• Must be willing to adjust schedule to accommodate the needs of the resort.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inventory, and maintenance schedules.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with OSHA standards.
• Assist with special projects and renovations as directed by the Facilities Manager or Resort Management team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in facilities maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in a hospitality or resort setting.
• Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with guests, staff, and vendors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
