Fox Rothschild LLP is Hiring a Litigation Associate Near Charlotte, NC

Description: Fox Rothschild LLP has an opening in Charlotte, Greensboro, or Raleigh, NC for an associate in the Litigation Department to work on construction cases and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of relevant construction and litigation experience. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina. License to practice law in the State of South Carolina is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.
  • Experience in all aspects of litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
  • Understanding of and desire to work on construction matters.
  • Willing to learn to review and draft construction contracts (transactional experience a plus, but not required).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
  • The Firm maintains a COVID-19 vaccination policy. If unvaccinated, a mask will not be required to be worn in the office unless required by local or state government.
