Dynamic, independent, small animal practice in Northern Illinois on the Chain-O-Lakes

Is seeking a Full time compassionate Veterinarian committed to practicing high quality medicine and surgery.

We operate a 6 Veterinarian walk in clinic and pride ourselves on efficient, quality service at reasonable prices.

We have a full service Pharmacy with a Registered Pharmacist on duty Monday thru Friday. Our Pharmacist performs in-house compounding of specialty meds. We have a complete inventory of specialty chew tablets and suspensions for our clients.

We operate 7 exam rooms, a treatment room, and full-service Surgery room with staff.

The clinic has digital radiographs, ultrasound, dental, oxygen cages, cold laser, Abaxis and Idexx inhouse lab machines including Biomerioux Progesterone tests for breeders.

We have accounts with IDEXX and ANTECH for pathology and normal lab needs.

We pride ourselves for very thorough medical workups; as well as, perform 12-18 surgical procedures daily, including many soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.

The Hospital serves a broad range of clients and breeders including artificial surgical inseminations.

Salary is competitive and negotiable, and commensurate with experience. We offer Medical, IRA, vacation time and paid licenses

After hour patient needs are transfered to any one of two late night Hospitals to give our Veterinarians work life balance.

The Veterinarian who practices at our Hospital can practice medicine tailored to the owner’s needs and budget. Always mindful of the very best interest of the patient and owner!

Pay: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
