Position Summary :

Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and preventative maintenance of all facilities related equipment. The facilities technician also plays a major role in providing a safe and productive environment for all employees.

Position Responsibilities :

• Performs minor mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs on any utilities found within the facility.
• Troubleshoots and repairs various types of equipment to include compressors, chillers, pumps, motors, and HVAC.
• Performs predictive and preventative maintenance on all facilities related equipment.
• Assist other departments with installation of equipment to include, rigging, electrical and utility piping.
• Ability to fabricate, weld and operate manual machine lathes and mills.
• Works closely with the EHS team to ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
• Utilize electrical and mechanical schematics, parts manuals, assembly instructions and other troubleshooting guides to assist in solving problems.
• Utilize the CMMS system to record all maintenance and repair services performed and keep track of all materials and parts used during the repair process.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Education :

HS graduate or equivalent

Experience :

3 years of experience in manufacturing facility

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
