Position Summary

Responsible for creating engaging written content to grow target audiences across multiple channels and brands

Position Responsibilities :

• Generating, researching, and pitching ideas for articles, posts, and other written content forms.
• Writing, editing, publishing, and promoting content.
• Promoting new posts using advertisements, emails, social media, and other methods to alert and attract new readers.
• Advocating and educating others about interests, products, or services.
• Maximizing site traffic by utilizing Search Engine Optimization keywords.
• Inviting other bloggers, experts, or other notable guests to contribute content to the webpage.
• Monitoring responses to posts via the website, social media, or other platforms to better understand the audience.
• Staying current on industry trends for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required :

• Strong software skills : Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and aptitude for learning new software.
• Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills.
• Creativity and adaptability.
• Strong understanding of the target audience and industry trends.
• Internet savvy, strong knowledge of social media and related apps.
• Excellent presentation and inter-personal skills.
• Highly organized, creative and able to juggle many projects simultaneously.
• Work autonomously when needed to push projects through tight timelines.

Position Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related area preferred, or equivalent experience

Experience :

3 years of marketing experience in written communications.

Office Environment

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer

May occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 lbs.
