Laser and Press Brake Operator / Programmer

Foutz Motorsports a leader in the off-road aftermarket industry is hiring a hardworking laser and press brake system programmer and operator. This person must pay close attention to detail, be organized, and must have previous experience with laser and press brake operations and off-line programming. This job will entail the start to finish process of taking 3d models and creating the laser cut files and programming the laser cutting nests to make the parts. Then the parts will have to be programmed to run through the CNC press brake to be bent and then handed off to the welding team to weld the assemblies together.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Daily operation of Laser cutting and bending System
• Daily operation of Laser cutting machine and CNC press brake machine
• Daily programming of files for laser cut nesting and press brake operations
• Daily conversion of Solid Works and Fusion 360 files into laser sheet metal files for production
• Basic set up and tool loading on press brake

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication equipment
• Knowledge of laser cutting and CNC bending systems and work flows
• Must know how to read and operate basic measurement tools (tape measure, protractor, calipers)
• Knowledge of welding and final assembly of complex sheet metal assemblies
• Contributes to building a positive team spirit and puts success of team above own interests

Summary of Experience and Education

• High school Diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years’ experience in fabrication and laser and press brake operation
• Knowledge of Solid Works, Fusion 360, and system flow for sheet metal and assemblies
• Must be detail oriented and able to pay close attention to detail

Compensation

• Compensation $27-$29 per hour
• Full time work starting at 8:00 am daily
• Job is full time on location at our main facility in Mesa Arizona

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
