SUMMARY: 

Responsible for providing dining service to all guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner, displaying a high standard of guest services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Delivers prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverages to banquet guests in accordance with banquet standards.
  • Performs necessary tasks to service guests.
  • Gathers, delivers and maintains all food & beverage products and equipment.
  • Maintains current knowledge of internal & external Banquet set-ups as outlined in BEO manual.
  • Sets up room as specified on Banquet Event Order (BEO) sheet.
  • Maintains guests dining area in a clean and neat manner.
  • Maintains current knowledge of the menu and of key ingredients.
  • Works in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations.
  • Monitors guests’ needs on a continual basis, ensuring all requests will be promptly fulfilled in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Assists other restaurant personnel with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Two to three years related food server experience preferred.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.

This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to perform basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
