Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing tax documents and financial statements. You will also assist with budgeting and provide support in various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts, double-entry bookkeeping, and experience in private equity. Duties: - Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts - Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports - Reconcile balance sheets and resolve any discrepancies - Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for tax filings - Provide support in budgeting and forecasting activities - Assist with accounts payable tasks as needed - Utilize accounting software to input and analyze financial data Skills: - Strong knowledge of financial concepts and tax regulations - Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping principles - Familiarity with private equity accounting practices is a plus - Ability to analyze financial statements and identify areas for improvement - Experience in balance sheet reconciliation - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills - Proficient in using accounting software for data entry and analysis - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members This is a full-time position with competitive compensation. Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
