Four Seasons Sunrooms and Windows is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our company, a fast-paced, thriving manufacturing business team located in Holbrook, New York. Four Seasons is one of the largest manufacturers of sunrooms, screen enclosures, and greenhouses and solutions for outdoor living spaces. Four Seasons is a solid, growth- driven company delivering quality products. Through over 20 locations across the US, we serve contractors with their building product’s needs.

As part of the national headquarters, serving twenty locations accounting for over $120 million in sales, you will work in a dynamic environment. Our ideal candidate will have worked in a manufacturing business and succeed in a fast paced work environment.

The Account Receivable Clerk will be professional, polite, attentive while also being accurate and extremely organized. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Accounts Receivable Clerks must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks and excel at both verbal and written communication

.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transaction related to accounts receivable for import process.
  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Posts Invoices by verifying and entering transactions. Reapplication of credits and open payments. Assist with eComm payments
  • Post daily deposits, process incoming mail concerning billing and invoicing,
  • Processing RMA Credit memos
  • Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers. Creating and/or duping accounts to other sites
  • Upload and update tax status on SL and Avalara
  • Generating reports and statements for internal use in the morning and afternoon.
  • Running D & B report and reaching out to business references for customer looking for terms
  • Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions.
  • Engage management over any AR problems encountered, initiate collections on past due accounts
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks, data entry including change of address, contact, email address on customer’s master account
  • Preparing invoices daily and uploading to Bluegrass, sending bill reminders, handling credit card chargeback matters, credit card (Amex) processing. filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
  • Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge

Required Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
  • At least two years of related experience required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
