Four Points Technology is Hiring a Chief Technology Officer - Cloud and Technology Evangelist Near Chantilly, VA
Must be located in the DMV area.
Summary: This position is responsible for evaluating customer needs and requirements, architect innovative solutions and designs, and assist sales leadership in identifying and closing profitable business opportunities focused on Cloud and Security customer initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong US Federal Government experience either as a Federal Contractor or as employee with a Federal Agency. Additionally, this leader will manage the organization pre-sales engineering team.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support Field Sales and Cloud Operations in the discovery, architecting, presenting, and bidding of solutions that include Cloud solutions.
- Strengths Amazon Web Services (certifications required)
- Knowledge of network security tools and cloud security best practices
- Strong knowledge of Networking and design best practices for Cloud and WAN.
- Maintain current technical knowledge and certifications for Amazon Web Services and other cloud solutions.
- Maintain current technical knowledge and certifications in IT Security tools utilized in the industry.
- Strengths in presenting and subject matter expert engaged in periodic speaking engagements as needed.
- Provide input to bid and proposal strategy and decision making. Position will require ability to design and architect solutions, provide written and graphical representation of solution as well as responding to questions associated with recommended solution.
- Responsible for providing customer demonstrations and webinar presentations promoting Cloud solutions.
- Role will provide onsite training/support to sales to educate them on solutions available to Four Points customers. Will interface with key members of partner staff to ensure technical competence, road map reviews and technical alignment to Four Points objectives.
- Must manage and provide mentorship to sales engineering team.
- Candidate will acknowledge and participate in annual ethics training provided by Four Points.
- Candidate will review, acknowledge, and participate in any US government and regulatory security trainings periodically as required in their role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Industry certifications on cloud and virtualization technologies
- Ability to travel and visit with customers -20-30% CONUS travel expected.
- Must be able to be able to go through Federal Government background checks, TS/SCI cleared preferred.
- Membership in industry associations
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Must be a self-starter requiring minimal day to day oversight.
- Must be able to independently identify issues and problems and provide recommended solutions to overcome those problems.
- BS/BA Degree in related field plus 10 years of experience and/or training, OR
- Associate Degree and 12 years of experience and/or training, OR
- 15 years of experience and/or training, OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
- Must have AWS Architecture certifications
