What you will do?

As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis you will be responsible for the annual budget, monthly financial reporting (including commentary), RFP responses, the annual Cost Report, forecasting, rate analysis, etc. for the enterprise and its affiliates. Provides leadership and direction to the agency management on the overall planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the agency’s financial performance. Specific responsibilities include:

• Providing proactive customer service to internal and external agents and Program staff.
• Conducting financial funder analysis and reporting.
• Producing monthly financial reporting package (including commentary).
• Providing regular cost analyses, making recommendations for positive correction.
• Understands cost environment and prepares projections to assist in strategic fin
• Producing accurate financial forecasts.
• Compiling relevant data to prepare budgets and justify funding requests.
• Reviewing existing budgets to monitor operating budget needs through regular analysis of financial statements.
• Preparing annual cost reports.
• Conducting financial analysis related to RFPs and completes financial sections of responses.
• Facilitating regular meetings with budget owners to review financial results.
• Producing documentation for Board of Directors and Sustainability Committee.
• Presenting financial results to Board of Directors and Sustainability Committee in Chief Financial Officer’s absence.

Qualifications

What you need:

To qualify you need a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field plus 5 years of experience, OR equivalent education and related experience. Other Special Requirements:

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines on a consistent basis
• Advanced computer skills in a MS Office environment
