What will you do?
Fountain Life is seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Tableau Specialist with a high level of understanding and technical expertise in Salesforce, including proficiency in Salesforce administration, development, and automation. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and reports using Tableau based solutions integrated with Salesforce data. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for documenting source data, conducting data mapping, performing data analysis and testing, and leveraging peripheral systems to support data modeling and dashboard reporting, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce customization and automation.
Responsibilities:

• Provides financial reports, data visualizations, and reporting packages via Tableau dashboards for company leadership and management to use in decision making, integrating Salesforce data where applicable.
• Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance data collection and improve reporting/analysis methods, leveraging Salesforce capabilities including flows, processes, and code customization.
• Maintains and updates databases, dashboards, data connections, and other data visualization tools to ensure accurate and up-to-date data is available to stakeholders, integrating with Salesforce data sources.
• Manages ongoing queue of dashboard projects and information requests from leadership, including Salesforce-related projects such as automation and customization.
• Conducts data tests and develops database queries to analyze impacts and troubleshoot issues, including Salesforce data troubleshooting and customization.
• Documents processes that drive data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design, including Salesforce customization and automation processes.
• Integrates new data sets and systems as they are onboarded, ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce and building necessary flows, processes, and code automation.
• Balance and prioritize tasks and projects based on deadlines or the importance and urgency, including Salesforce-related projects.

What do you need to succeed?

• High proficiency in creating real-time reporting dashboards using Tableau, with experience integrating Salesforce data.
• Advanced skills in connecting to various data sources and types, extracting and preparing data, and developing well-designed and effective dashboards and advanced drill-down reports in Tableau, including Salesforce data.
• Intermediate experience with SQL queries and SQL tools to extract data, with a focus on Salesforce data extraction.
• Experience conducting requirements gathering and mapping needs to technical requirements, including Salesforce requirements gathering.
• Basic understanding of data governance best practices, including Salesforce data governance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision, collaborating effectively with Salesforce administrators, developers, and end-users.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain good working relations with diverse groups, including Salesforce stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, information systems, or other related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience with report writing and dashboard creation using Tableau, with demonstrated experience integrating Salesforce data into Tableau dashboards.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certifications required.
• Proficiency in building flows, processes, and code customization in Salesforce. Additional Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Developer (Platform Developer I) or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (ADM 211) are highly desirable.
