Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver-metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency.

Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities.

Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services.

Centennial Peaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Intake Counselor to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.

They also provide information to clients, families and referral sources regarding treatment programs, insurance and admission procedures.

Specific Hours : Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9pm to 7 : 30am

This position is eligible for our generous shift differentials : Weekend Day (Sat-Sun) $2 / hr, Evening (Mon-Thurs) $3.25 / hr, Weekend Evening (Fri-Sun) $5.

00 / hr, Night (Mon-Thurs) $5.00 / hr, Weekend Night (Fri-Sun) $7.00 / hr.*must work three and a half hours (3.5 hours) into a shift to qualify for shift differential.

Qualifications

Requirements :

• The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment is critical.
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Human Services field required.
• LCSW, LPC, LMFT preferred
• Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
• Prefer knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.
