Responsibilities

West Henderson Hospital is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 2024. When it does it will be the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System.

It will be located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters.

• 150 beds
• A 37-bay emergency department
• Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites.

• An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders
• An interventional radiology / special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders.

Job Description :

The Director directs and administers the Environmental Services Program. Maintains the hospital environment in a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition to include all our other buildings / clinics.

Supervises and coordinates the work activities of the Environmental Services personnel. Achieves department objectives by providing quality environmental services.

The Director will establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments and provide a unified approach to providing patient care.

The director will also provide overall direction and management of the performance of EVS staff and front line staff.

Qualifications

Shift : FULL TIME DAYS

Education :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent Management experience

Experience :

5 to 7 years of experience in housekeeping - Healthcare / hospital environment with 4 years of supervisory experience.

Other :

Full knowledge of pertinent regulatory agencies and the policies, codes, standards, and regulations for a healthcare environment
