As an IT Business Analyst, the ideal candidate would be a strong self-starter and team player that is willing to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. The flexibility, time management, and maturity to handle the ebb and flow of assignments is as important as the technical and analytical skills required to be successful in this position. Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities:Serve as an analyst, project manager, and technical troubleshooting resource to support the use and expansion of FBM’s business applications.Engage with business partners to identify potential areas of process improvement and design best practice solutions.Utilize Agile Development 'scrum' methodology to identify functionality gaps, breaking down information into epics and stories. Thoroughly comprehend the existing FBM technology stack and contribute to the detailed documentation of business applications, workflows, forms, and business processes.Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, IT, and other relevant parties to grasp requirements, document needs, and provide effective solutions.Evaluate the severity and priority of production issues, analyze their impact on business needs, and communicate progress throughout the resolution process.Take charge of user acceptance testing by crafting test cases derived from the analysis of both business and system requirements, and subsequently execute the testing process.Conduct ad-hoc data reporting and analysis by leveraging SQL.Document Standard Operation Procedures.Facilitate user training and develop training materials to educate the user community about modifications to business applications and processes.Manage activities to improve efficiency, stability, security and optimization of FBM’s Information Technology environment. Responsible for the design, execution and effectiveness of a system of internal controls that provides reasonable assurance that services are effective, efficient and assets are safeguarded.Ensures that his/her skills are up-to-date on the latest tools, techniques and knowledge and that the knowledge is shared among other Business Analysts and Developers.Willing to learn and work on FBM’s technology stack Essential Knowledge and Skills:Effectively communicate and present analysis results to the client in writing and orally; effectively translate complex technical concepts to functional representatives and vice versa.Having Advanced knowledge of interfaces between cloud applications is a must.Expert ability analyzing and troubleshooting software systems and implement design changes.Experience in sourcing data using application delivered APIs. Understanding of API behavior, security, paging etc. is required.
