Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate different types of vehicles.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including box trucks, tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trailers
- Load and unload goods and products onto the delivery vehicle
- Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Use GPS or navigation systems to locate delivery destinations
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and provide exceptional customer service
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Use equipment such as pallet jacks to move heavy items
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and requirements
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
