Foshee Residential Management Company, LLC (“Foshee”) has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager at our Huntsville and Athens, AL area properties.
This full-time position is responsible for the day-to-day functions for a Foshee owned and/or managed properties.
Responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):
· Respond to site visits or telephone inquiries
· Conduct site tours
· Effectively lease apartments
· Be able to prepare and explain lease-related paperwork
· Increase property traffic levels and work to exceed budgeted occupancy percentages
· Assist in collection, posting and depositing of rental payments
· Assist with ensuring the timely receipt of rental collections and evictions on delinquent residents
· Assist with day to day functions of maintaining an orderly leasing office
· Organize resident functions including parties and newsletters
· All other duties assigned by the Site Property Manager
Qualifications / Experience Necessary:
· High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· At least 1 year prior leasing experience in the multifamily industry; preferably with tax credit and affordable housing experience
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Experience with OneSite required
· Must be able to multi-task and meet agreed upon deadlines
· Attention to detail and organized
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
