Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC. (AMS) is currently seeking a Facilities & Property Manager to join our Huntsville, AL. team.

Responsibilities:

The Facility/Property Manager will work with an on-site team to orchestrate daily operations and ensure company property is tracked accordingly.

Responsible for planning, and coordinating activities concerned with the repair, maintenance, renovation and new equipment installation.

Support the Purchasing Director to oversee the management/accountability of government-owned property, contractor-acquired property, equipment, and AMS software. This role focuses on supporting R&D expansion, minimizing interruptions to Operations, and improving facility safety, security, comfort and efficiency and align with the business needs.

Tasks include Tracking, inventory, disposal, and reporting of government property in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Responsible for providing property management guidance and technical direction, interpretation of the FAR, DFARS and other governing agency regulations concerning property management policies, government, and company regulations at the site level related to both Government and Company owned property.
Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related disciplines.

Minimum of 5 years in Facilities Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, or Property Management field.

Knowledgeable of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to government property management, such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS).

Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with government officials, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Experience with property management systems, tools, and software.

Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, machine mechanics, building management system, safety operation and building codes.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
