**Job Title: Remote ATM Service Technician**
**Job Summary:**
The Remote ATM Service Technician is responsible for providing technical support to customers remotely via phone, with approximately 30% of the role involving field visits for maintenance and installation tasks. **Responsibilities:**
1. Monitor service phones and respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding ATM functionality and technical issues.
2. Troubleshoot ATM problems remotely by guiding customers through diagnostic procedures and software adjustments.
3. Escalate complex issues to on-site technicians or senior support staff for further investigation and resolution.
4. Coordinate with field technicians to schedule and prioritize service visits for hardware repairs, installations, and maintenance.
5. Provide technical training and guidance to customers on ATM usage, troubleshooting techniques, and preventive maintenance.
6. Maintain accurate records of service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolution outcomes for documentation and analysis.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to identify recurring issues, recommend improvements, and implement solutions to enhance ATM performance.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and security protocols related to ATM servicing and support.
9. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards while delivering exceptional customer service.
10. Participate in on-call rotations and occasional travel to customer sites for hands-on support and emergency repairs as needed.
**Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in electronics or related field is preferred.
2. Proven experience in ATM servicing, technical support, or IT helpdesk roles with a focus on remote troubleshooting.
3. Strong knowledge of ATM hardware, software, networking concepts, and troubleshooting techniques.
4. Proficiency in using remote desktop tools, diagnostic software, and ticketing systems for service management.
5. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and vendors professionally and effectively.
