Position: HCM Systems Data Administrator

Job Description:

This position maintains personnel records and processes employee record changes. The incumbent in this job responds to internal customer questions and provides self-service user guidance for the human capital management system, while demonstrating the highest degree of courtesy, integrity, and professionalism to resolve issues.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Responsible for performing employee record management tasks
  • Responds to requests for employee record data and documents in accordance with company’s policies, procedures and data and record security standards
  • Performs data and document entry into employee records in the Human Capital Management (HCM) System
  • Works to support accuracy and integrity of employee data within the HCM System by following established procedures for updating, verifying, and correcting employee records
  • Maintains employee electronic and paper personnel files consistent with company policy and applicable employment regulations
  • Provides excellent service and how to guidance to employees and managers performing self-service transactions on employee records in the HCM System
  • Assists in developing and maintaining user "how to" job aids
  • Assists in developing and maintaining HR data administration team’s standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Performs HCM System user acceptance testing
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience in human resources and data and record administration
  • Proficient experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite-specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Proficient experience working with HRIS software

  • The ideal candidate will possess a “can do” approach with a “will do” work ethic
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to build effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Strong attention to detail and quality skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization skill set
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain highly sensitive and confidential information
