WHAT DO WE DO?

Forward Logistics is an intrastate and interstate motor carrier specializing in Loose Cargo Load (LCL), Full Container Load (FCL), Full Trailer Load (FTL), oversized cargo, and special project cargo delivery. In human words, we move cargo from point A to point B on the road with a truck.

ARE YOU ONE OF US?

This position has overall responsibility to manage and update company records, ensuring that all customs-related documents are stored accurately and in compliance with US Customs regulations and company protocols.

Requirements:

• Responsible for determining and following CFS , CBP and OGA/PGA requirements (licenses, certificates, etc.)
• Create CFS / CBP SOP and enforce protocols.
• Ensure the highest compliance levels for all customs and government agency requirements across all staff and teams.
• Oversee entry auditing and reporting results and recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure that company’s controls, policies, procedures, processes, and applications are all understood by the team and implemented accordingly.
• Ensure that all internal audits are completed and carried out as per client requirements.
• Provide ongoing training to keep up with changing trade compliance policies, this will involve attending seminars and conferences.
• Perform due diligence checks on new customers when required to do so.
• Manage the company’s interface using customs authorities.
• Assist in the implementation and control of any new legislation or client requirements.
• Assume other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of supervisory or management experience within CFS office and warehouse operations.
• Experience interacting with various stakeholders, including customers, customs authorities, shipping agents, and government agencies.
• Experience with P&L responsibility and managing budgets preferred.
• Proficient in WMS, ABI, ACE/AMS Software
• Ability to support office and warehouse operations when necessary.
• Excellent crisis management skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Proficient computer skills and professional communication etiquette.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Warehouse management: 3 years (Preferred)
• CFS Warehouse Management: 3 years (Preferred)
• Safety and Compliance: 1 year (Preferred)
• OSHA: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Gardena, CA 90248: Relocate before starting work (Required)
