WHAT DO WE DO?

Forward Logistics is an intrastate and interstate motor carrier specializing in Loose Cargo Load (LCL), Full Container Load (FCL), Full Trailer Load (FTL), oversized cargo, and special project cargo delivery. In human words, we move cargo from point A to point B on the road with a truck.

ARE YOU ONE OF US?

This position belongs to the Admin Team and reports to the Compliance Manager. This position is responsible for daily data collection and entry for various policies and protocols to ensure company compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations and standards, as well as customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Collect and update data for various protocols regarding hours of service, equipment maintenance, driver qualification, etc.
• Communicate with stakeholders for data collection and troubleshooting purposes.
• Assist with maintaining compliance records that provides adequate and necessary reference materials.
• Prepare and present summaries of findings to upper management for review.
• Complete special projects as assigned by Compliance Manager.
• Review, identify, and resolve issues in safety and compliance.
• Generate routine and specialized reports as needed.
• Report on irregular activity to Compliance Manager.
• Assume other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience in trucking / transportation field preferred not required.
• Experience in safety and compliance preferred not required.
• Excellent crisis management skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task and to prioritize in a fast paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills and professional e-mail etiquette.
• Effective oral and written communication skill.
• High school graduate required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Fresh grad welcomed.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese (Cantonese/ Mandarin) a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
