Forward Edge is Hiring an Event Coordinator Near Cincinnati, OH

Summary

As an Events Coordinator at Forward Edge, you will be crucial in conceptualizing, planning, and executing events that effectively communicate the Forward Edge brand and suite of solutions to our target audience. Your creativity, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure will drive the success of our events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences.

Roles & Responsibilities

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of corporate events, including trade shows, conferences, and webinars.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure event success, aligning with our brand's goals and objectives.
  • Manage all event logistics, including venue and booth selection, vendor management, event purchases and rental items, registration and potential sponsorship opportunities, budgeting, and on-site coordination.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Foster relationships with industry partners, sponsors, and vendors to enhance event offerings and reach.
  • Research opportunities to collaborate with industry partners before, at, and after events
  • Coordinate all Marketing development funds requests and claims from various Forward Edge manufacturers
  • Coordinate with sales and other function teams to ensure cohesive brand representation and messaging at events.
  • Engage with attendees before, during, and after events to gather feedback and encourage ongoing dialogue with our brand.

Performance Analysis:

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of event marketing strategies, using data to assess ROI and inform future event planning.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve event quality and attendee experience, leveraging insights from past events.

Marketing and Promotion (on an as-needed basis):

  • Collect deliverables and coordinate the promotion of events to our target audience, utilizing digital and social media content developed by other Marketing team members.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for event marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, PR, or a related field.
  • At a minimum, 1 year of experience in event marketing, preferably in the technology or related industry. 2 years of industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to quickly address and resolve issues that may arise before or during an event.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering memorable event experiences.
  • Familiarity with event management software, social media platforms, and basic office software. Proficiency in Salesforce, Google Suite, and Canva. Added plus if skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Willingness to travel as required for event planning and execution.

Job Type: Full-time

Travel: Regional and National Events

Pay: Salary negotiable. (starting at $45,000 per year or $21 per hour)

Expected hours: 40 hours per week
