Fortune Recommends is looking to hire a compliance and production manager with extensive experience in online publishing. The role would entail managing compliance processes and leading a team of staff and freelancers who format articles for publication via Wordpress.

The ideal candidate would have expertise in compliance workflows for a personal finance website—specifically in the realm of credit cards—although anyone with experience in the realm of personal finance compliance for publishing would be considered. 

The hire would act as the lead reviewer ensuring that published content remained compliant with the strict requirements of various outside partners. 

The position would also involve managing a team of staff and freelance workers who format articles for publication on Wordpress.

Responsibilities:

• Manage compliance workflows in coordination with a large editorial team. Review personal finance content for correctness,completeness, and adherence to partner requirements.
• Maintain a database of shortcodes that support variable data in personal finance content.
• Work with outside content partners to keep up to date on new features and offerings.
• Develop, implement, and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
• Regularly review all customer-facing content to ensure it meets FTC standards and company and partner policies.
• Provide training and guidance to the marketing and sales teams on compliance matters, ensuring a clear understanding of regulations and their impact on company practices.
• Prepare compliance reports for management and revenue partners.
• Manage a team of staff and freelance employees who format personal finance content in a digital CMS. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years experience in compliance, legal, or a similar role, preferably within the credit card affiliate marketing or online publishing sector.
• Knowledge of FTC regulations and other laws pertaining to marketing and sales.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret regulations and assess business practices.
• Experience managing direct reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective training and reporting.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
• Meticulous and process-driven approach.

Compensation:

Base Salary of $100,000 - $115,000
