We are hiring for a new position as a Inventory Control Associate. The position will be a fast-paced role centered around coordinating the arrival, receipt and departure of several trucks to and from multiple regions. The role will involve both an Inventory Control aspect which will be a direct receiving of product for distribution and a breakdown facet focused on ensuring singular POs are broken down to be loaded into their specified outbound shipments. The position will report directly to the Inventory Control Manager.

Requirements:

• 1 yrs. Experience loading and unloading freight
• Experience and proficiency with Material Handling Equipment
• Basic computer knowledge with experience in Excel and Outlook
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Must understand proper loading and unloading procedure with experience in temperature control monitoring is preferable
• At least 18 years old and must possess a HS diploma or equivalent
• Provide proof of right to work in the US
• Able to read, write and take direction in English
• Able to lift up to 50 to 80 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and to stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift
• Able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Must have Regular and Reliable Attendance
• Must have transportation

Skills Needed

• Strong understanding of truck arrival and departure procedures
• Must have prior experience working in a warehouse; preferably in a distribution environment;
• Experience working in a refrigerated/freezer environment is STRONGLY preferred
• Experience with forklifts, reach trucks and power jacks a plus
• Strong communication skills with warehouse managers/co-workers
• Ability to go up to 24’ off the ground on a ladder or Material Handling Equipment
• Prioritization of safety and quality standards

• Sorting, Stacking, Labeling
• Rotating and Organizing slotted product
• Use of Forklift/Reach Truck to move and slot inventory

• Review integrity of specified products for Quality Assurance

Work Environment

• Work is done in a refrigerated environment (warehouse temperature is set at 32 degrees, Freezer -10 degrees)
• Environment is fast paced
