Capsule Shop, a purveyor of highly sought-after contemporary women's designer brands, is seeking a copywriter to help develop the brand narrative, to drive the success of our online store. You will write a full range of marketing driven copy for all channels and customer touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality product descriptions to enhance customer journey on product pages. Include accurate technical details, key product features, and supporting content.
• Write engaging short and long-form copy for designer landing pages and promotional collections.
• Create well-written, succinct and informative headline and tagline copy for featured content on website.
• Produce SEO friendly copy that optimizes page titles and meta descriptions on website.
• Create compelling ad and editorial copy for a range of marketing and communications materials: email, social media, paid ads, and press features.
• Maintain and develop a clear and consistent brand voice on copy across all channels.
• Tailor writing style and tone to meet the needs of different target audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, fashion or related field.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and CMS programs.
• Sound knowledge and interest in womenswear – fashion, designer brands and styles.
• Proven knowledge of our brand assortment.
• Fashion e-commerce writing and direct-to-consumer experience preferred.
• Understanding of apparel silhouettes, construction, and fabrics a plus.
• Knowledgeable of SEO copywriting best practices.
• Experience with social media and content marketing.
• Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.
• Ability to work quickly and to agreed targets and deadlines.
• Must be able to provide a work portfolio for review.
