Summary

The Client Service Associate in Salt Lake City/Midvale is responsible for providing world class service to our exclusive high net worth clients, providing operational and administrative support and managing welcome desk responsibilities for our SLC branch.

Responsibilities

Client Service

• Provide world class service with a friendly and professional demeanor, can-do attitude and willingness to help at all times, providing professional resolution of problems/issues
• Perform Bank opening and closing procedures
• Maintain common areas of the SLC branch which include but are not limited to stocking bar/kitchen areas and maintaining conference rooms
• Welcome desk responsibilities for SLC, including main telephone line and greeting clients
• Maintain a teller drawer and workstation, performing teller transactions as needed
• Process wires as needed

Support Services

• Responsible for obtaining and executing all required documents to open and close accounts
• Provide ongoing support to Private Banking teams with relation to account servicing, maintenance and other client service requests
• Provide support to Treasury Management and Deposit Operations Departments as needed

Other

• Develop a fundamental understanding of the banking industry, as well as a complete understanding of products and services provided by Fortis
• Follow all internal policies and procedures to ensure the bank is operating in a compliant manner

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in a Client Service and/or Administrative support role.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively to deliver world-class client experience.
• Acute attention to detail, strong organizational skills and proactivity.
• Able to perform well in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
