The Credit Product Analyst is responsible for all data analytics of Fortegra’s Credit Department Insurance and Ancillary products. As a subject matter expert (SME) for Credit Department, responsibilities will include business/client analysis including profitability analysis, interpretation of products and rates and project management.
The position reports to the Vice President, Credit Protection Group.

• Support VP, Credit Protection Group for credit insurance product inquiries, rates, analysis, matrix, and report management.
• Primarily from Oracle and AS400 systems, prepare content for all reports including, but not limited to, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual and/or Annual Business Reviews.
• Based on analytical analysis provide useful and effective recommendations to address client program performance issues related to the client data reviewed
• Coordinate with Compliance, Account Set-Up, Claims, IT, Reinsurance, and other departments to ensure proper setup and reporting are accurate based on business needs.
• Effective use of Monday.com for management of projects in purview.
• Effective use and proficiency of HubSpot.com CRM program.
• Provide ad hoc assistance with managing all stakeholder (Internal & External) data requests.
• Other duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications 

• 3-5 plus years direct experience working as a data analyst
• Property/Casualty or Credit Insurance experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills and proven project management skills and ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure. Must be logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail, and able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
• Position requires some theoretical and conceptual knowledge of a technical / functional specialization
• Advanced knowledge of data mining methods using appropriate tools including but not limited to expertise in Excel
• Problems are typically solved through high level technical analysis
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Insurance product pricing and analysis
• Insurance product and risk management preferred
• Travel is not required
