The main responsibility of this position is to troubleshoot and maintain the electrical control systems on production equipment, specifically troubleshooting and repairing problems with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their related components. You will also get to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings and sketches to identify problems and make appropriate repairs.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD and PLC software as well as NEC and NFPA codes. You must be able to quickly learn and apply new skills, analyze problems from a technical perspective and be flexible with changing processes. Proficiency at field wiring machinery and bending electrical conduits are a must.

This position is in a fast-paced production environment, and you will need to be able to access all areas of operation. You will be sitting and working at a computer for extended periods of time, and you'll occasionally need to lift up to 75 pounds.
