Fort Wayne Metals specializes in providing wires, cables, composites, and assemblies used in life-improving medical devices. In our Advanced Manufacturing Department, we are actively building custom web-based interfaces and collecting data from hundreds of equipment in our clean, climate-controlled facilities. Our group has experience in successfully networking hundreds of PLCs from many different platforms and pulling data from devices via Ethernet/IP, MTConnect, OPC/UA, MQTT, Modbus/TCP, RS-485, and RS-232 protocol through our KepServerEX OPC platform.
We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field. At least two years of experience in manufacturing automation and robotic technology is preferred.
