SHRM or PHR certification is preferred. You’ll need a working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
As an HR Business Partner, you’ll work with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. You’ll do this by solving complex employee relations issues, analyzing current work-related trends, and supporting business objectives through value-added service. This will require schedule flexibility to accommodate multiple shifts and travel to different facilities within Fort Wayne, Columbia City and Ohio.
