If you find joy in being creative, have a passion for Civil Engineering projects and are experienced in using Civil3D, then you could be the ideal candidate for our CAD Designer/Field Technician role at Forsgren Associates, Inc.! Job Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with our engineers to design, draft, review, and evaluate engineering plan sets

· Create Civil Engineering drawing using AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation

· Prepare report figures for projects

· Write related technical documents such as material list and cost estimates

· Ensure all drawings are accurate and meet industry standard

· Maintain a library of standard drawing templates

· Ability and desire to inspect construction projects to verify they are being constructed per plans and specifications

· Willingness to get material testing certifications ACI concrete testing as well as nuclear densometer certification

Qualifications:

Before you apply, make sure you have:

· Related experience

· Professional certification such as ADDA and CADD

· Experience in using AutoCAD (Preferable Civil 3D) and/or MicroStation software

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Knowledge of 3D and 2D modeling tools preferred

· Knowledge of Engineering practices and industry standards

· Construction experience
