Role Description:

Minimum 10 years experience in Vertica and managing several multi-terabyte Vertica databases both on-prem and cloud.

Expert Knowledge of Vertica Architecture - Vertica Enterprise and Vertica Eon.

Expertise in installing/upgrade and maintaining 50 Vertica environments.

5 year experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization in Vertica which includes projections, partitions

Maintain Vertica databases and assist with regular OS patching.
