Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Grant Writer with a focus on non-profit organizations and a deep understanding of California Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Programs (CA STRTP). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in securing funding to support our programs, ensuring the continuation and expansion of services that benefit those in need. If you are passionate about driving change, possess excellent grant writing skills, and have expertise in CA STRTP, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify grant opportunities that align with the mission and programs of the organization, including CA STRTP initiatives.

  • Collaborate with program managers and staff to gather relevant information and data for grant proposals.

  • Write, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals that adhere to guidelines and effectively communicate the impact of our programs.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the organization's initiatives, including CA STRTP programs, to accurately represent them in grant applications.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with funders, ensuring effective communication and follow-up on submitted proposals.

  • Track and report on the status of grant applications, providing updates to the leadership team as needed.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, funding opportunities, and best practices in grant writing.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in grant writing for non-profit organizations, with specific expertise in CA STRTP programs.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong research and analytical abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

  • Familiarity with grant application processes and requirements.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
