Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This is a paid position. Duties: - Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Provide assistance with mobility and transfers - Administer medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals - Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding - Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry - Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Document client progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy - Reliable transportation to travel to client locations Skills: - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules - Empathy and understanding towards individuals with physical or cognitive limitations - Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and safety precautions Please note that all positions at our organization are paid, including internship positions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
