Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This is a paid position that requires a commitment to providing exceptional care. Responsibilities: - Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding - Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up client's living space - Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed - Maintain open communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals Skills: - Compassionate and empathetic nature - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Attention to detail in providing personal care services - Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures - Ability to adapt to the needs of different clients - Reliable and trustworthy Please note that all positions at our organization are paid positions.
