Description

Foresight Technologies is looking to hire a Quality Control Inspector, specializing in FAI (First Article Inspections). A QC/FAI will be responsible for the inspection of parts, preparing, recording, and entering FAI's, check equipment for proper orientation, documentation of inspection results, and other duties as needed and/or required.

The ideal candidate will show proven reliability, pay close attention to detail, self-motivated, coachable, knowledgeable with working and handling plastics and metal products, familiar with various inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges), highly competent in reading and interpreting manufacture drawings (blue prints), and knowledgeable of QMS AS9102 Standards. This position requires excellent communication skills (verbal and written), the ability to work on several projects at the same time, detail oriented, and preparing FAI (First Article Inspections).

Equipment: Calipers, Micrometers, Gage blocks, Thread gages, CMM

Software: Discus, Unipoint, Microsoft Office, Adobe

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• a minimum of (2) years of preparing First Article Inspections per AS9102, and
• a minimum of (2) years of related experience
