We have an exciting opportunity for Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist (Multi-Site) for Dallam, Texas and Borger, Texas! This position will travel to various accounts by car and mileage will be reimbursed. This position will be responsible for 1/2 the time at Dalhart, Texas account and and 1/2 the time in our Borger, Texas account!

Full-time position located in Dalhart, Texas. (you can reside in Amarillo, Texas and commute)

• Support 2 accounts within Acute Care locations. These accounts are located in Dalhart and Borger, Texas!
• Calculate nutritional needs, establish goals, and implement medical nutrition therapy for residents based on their overall nutritional status.
• Establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs which lead to optimal clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomes
• Compile with regulatory standards – both Federal and State and accrediting agencies adhering to confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, residents’ right policies, and CMS regulations
• Collaborate with IDT team to provide quality nutrition and culinary program
• Review menu cycle for nutrient analysis and diet consistencies
• Supports quality assurance initiatives in the kitchen

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills to encourage changes with nursing and kitchen management.
• 1-3 years working in long-term care and/or a hospital environment as a Registered Dietitian
