This position is a hybrid role which requires the employee to work in the office every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Job Summary
The Director, Talent Acquisition and Development will develop, design, and implement people solutions focused on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. This role will be responsible for optimizing the recruiting function by maximizing tools, metrics, and assessments and leveraging talent assessments and staffing/selection coaching to ensure hiring decisions are aligned with our company strategy, values, and performance expectations. Additionally, this position will be responsible for advancing our D&I strategy to ensure our workforce attracts, develops, and retains diverse talent.
The Director, Talent Acquisition and Development will also develop, improve, and implement initiatives that support people development including talent review, succession planning, career paths and professional and career development.

Essential Functions
  • Develop and execute company’s recruitment strategy and improve processes to ensure a positive candidate experience, achievement of recruitment goals and compliance with federal/state laws and regulations including EEOC, ADA and other applicable laws.
  • Manage and execute all aspects of the hiring process from forecasting and planning to sourcing, selection, candidate communications and offer.
  • Utilize KPIs to continually set direction, evaluate progress, and improve processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to anticipate staffing needs and consult with hiring managers at all levels to provide strategic recommendations and feedback to support the selection of high quality and diverse candidates.
  • Develop and implement diversity recruiting strategy, initiatives, and processes to attract, hire and retain diverse talent.
  • Create and maintain job descriptions to ensure role clarity and compliance to HR-related processes.
  • Manage external recruiters and staffing houses required to supplement recruiting for full-time staff and contract resources.
  • Manage and improve company internship program and lead initiatives and develop processes to amplify our employer brand.
  • Act as Lead administrator for ATS and make improvements to support efficient and candidate-friendly recruiting processes that project a positive employer brand.
  • Develop and lead the execution of OD programs and processes (talent review, succession planning, career paths, and professional and career development, etc.) to help identify top talent, assess talent gaps, and enable employee professional growth and development.
Act as Lead Administrator for development module and make improvements to support efficient programming, processes, and user experience.

Experience
  • Hands-on experience leading a full-cycle talent acquisition function including candidate management, hiring manager consulting, vendor & agency management, D&I, immigration, and offers in a transformative organizational environment, 7 years.
  • Experience designing, developing, and managing talent development focused initiatives like talent review, competency modeling, career pathing, professional/career development, 7 years.
  • Experience working in a full-service HR team, 7 years.
  • Experience working in a SaaS, digital, or technology focused environment, preferred.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Advanced skills and knowledge in recruiting principles, best practices, and employment laws and regulations related to immigration, ADA, EEOC for each phase of the selection and hiring process.
  • Advanced skills in behavioral-based interviews, assessments and selection tools and related laws.
  • Immigration process knowledge (H-1B, TN, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of recruiting tools and platforms (e.g., ATS, CRM, research, and sourcing tools), preferably SAP.
  • Advanced knowledge of talent management and development best practices and processes (talent review, succession planning, workforce planning, competency modeling, career paths, professional/career development, etc.).
  • Highly skilled at writing, cataloguing, organizing, and maintaining job profiles/descriptions.
  • Ability to credibly influence change and manage conflict constructively while managing multiple complex priorities.
  • Resilient, positive demeanor, flexible and comfortable working in ambiguous and paradoxical situations.
  • Advanced organizational agility and stakeholder partnering skills.
  • Skilled change agent who is abreast of latest industry standards, best practices and who can enable positive and effective change.
  • Excellent small and large group facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Proactively problem-solve and multitask while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
  • Follow-through mindset to uphold a ‘close the loop’ culture.
  • A positive approach to serving customers and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment, high ethics, and project a professional image.

  • Excellent organization, flexibility and time management skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and business communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in OD, Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant training, learning, and/or OD certifications are highly desirable
  • PHR, SPHR Certification, preferred
