Footprints, Heroes Home Gate, and Turning Point is looking for a new Clinical Supervisor to oversee our case management team. Here at Heroes Home Gate, we provide transitional living for homeless Veterans. As Clinical Supervisor, you would be working between 15-35 hours based on availability during business hours, Monday through Friday at your flexibility. This position allows for you to create your own schedule based on company needs.

Job Overview:

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for reviewing the case notes and treatment plans of the Case Managers. The Clinical Supervisor will also assist the Director in reviewing, updating, and revising current case management policies and procedures. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assuring that all policies and procedures are being followed by all case managers and Program Assistants. Additionally, the Clinical Supervisor may have a very small caseload of clients, as needed. The Clinical supervisor is responsible for keeping staff updated and communicating appropriate information to serve veterans. Case Managers will work with clients and veterans from all backgrounds and demographics. We are a Drug and Alcohol workplace and adhere to VA policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Review case notes and treatment plans created by counselors and case managers
• Review medication count logs
• Assist director in creating policies relating to case management, counseling, and medication storage/counts
• Attend Turning Point case conferencing meeting on the first Monday evening of each month
• Assist director and program managers in creating and maintaining training schedules for employees and ensuring continuing professional development of our teams
• Provide supervision for employees seeking credentialing as recovery professionals
• Provide feedback to staff on areas of strength and areas of improvement

Qualifications:

• MUST possess LCSW, or similar professional license in a related field.
• MUST have 1 years prior experience supervising case managers and/or counselors
• MUST be willing to submit to a criminal background check, and either not have a disbarring criminal conviction or an exception letter from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Felonies are not necessarily disqualifying. All sex crimes are disqualifying, including if you are not required to register as a sex offender on the public registry.
• MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, including THC.
• MUST have a solid understanding of substance use disorders and recovery.
• MUST be able to respect diverse client backgrounds.
• MUST possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• MUST be available the first Tuesday of every month 5pm-7pm
• Experience with case management preferred.
• Experience with residential programs preferred.
• Experience with government contracts, especially the VA a plus.
• Experience with COMBAT system is a plus.
• Familiar with VA policies and procedures.

. Previous experience in Case Management is preferred. Heroes Home Gate is unable to hire sex offenders.
