Part Time- Desktop Support Technician
Employee can make their own schedule but must be in the office on Monday morning to set up new hire laptops
Position can be hybrid
$23-$25/hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role will primarily involve troubleshooting issues, installing and configuring software and hardware, and assisting employees with IT-related problems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users regarding computer hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
• Install and upgrade software applications, operating systems, and drivers.
• Set up and configure user accounts and email accounts.
• Collaborate with other members of the IT team to implement and maintain IT infrastructure.
• Document and maintain records of IT issues and resolutions.
• Assist with IT-related projects and initiatives as needed.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in desktop support or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
