Foodland Farms is Hiring a Service Deli Clerk (#03, Aina Haina) Near Honolulu, HI

Foodland Super Market, Hawaii's largest locally owned grocery retailer is hiring Service Deli Clerks to join our team!

This is an hourly position and we offer a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification).

Service Deli Clerks are responsible but are not limited to the below:

  • preparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising the department’s deli products. (Deli products include deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, gourmet and hot case items.)
  • informing customers about our deli products and services
  • help increase sales by handing out food samples and by recommending additional items to customers
  • work with equipment like fryers and slicers and use store intercoms to announce special promotions and weekly specials.

Qualifications & requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Service deli, food handling/prep, customer service experience helpful
  • Must have TB Clearance
  • Must comply with all company policies and requirements
